I’d also go out on a limb and say for most of you, this is your first time getting married. We get that too! Before anything, we’re here to help. Planning a wedding is a lot of work especially when you pair that with everything else you’ve got going on: purchasing your first home, taking care of your 17 dogs, working over-time to get those paid days off for the honeymoon - or even just trying to have a nice dinner. At minimum our collections come with a highlight film, the ceremony & speeches, and 2 videographers (Evan and I) typically for 6 - 9 hours! I've always felt if you're hiring someone to capture the day, getting the footage of the main parts (ceremony + speeches) should come naturally. That's why they're both included in our base package. I’m always happy to provide other moments like your first look as well, just ask me on our call!
Everything! We film as if you’re getting it all just in case down the road you decide you actually do want it all.
I create my collections rooted in the firm belief that I won't offer my clients (and potential clients) anything I don't truly think they need or want. I'm not here to sell you a used car, I'm here to give you the best experience and produce the wedding film you've always envisioned. That's why all of my packages are structured to perfectly fit your needs depending on what's most important to you.
The highlight usually takes 8-10 weeks (can be sooner or later by a few) depending on the season. Along with busy season, having a majority of destination weddings can add to the queue - especially if I have back to back weekends traveling. June - October is usually the busiest, with sometimes 6 to 8 weddings (if they’re all local to orange county), so it would take longer during and after months like that. If you're getting a teaser film, I like to finish those within the first couple weeks of you being married!
I get this question a ton actually. Good news, we film everything as if you’re getting everything! We also keep your raw footage for at least a year so if you decide you want more down the road, or want to surprise your hunny on your anniversary with a new film, we've got ya covered!
I use licensed music so that there’s no copyright issues. I pick the song(s) based on how your day went and whatever matches the mood best. My couples are always more than welcome to share music with me that they like so I can find a similar vibe, or if you have the budget we can pay for a license for someone like Dan & Shay, or Ed Sheeran, or Snoop Dogg! If you know, you're into that. We can always openly chat even after the wedding too. With social media evolving all the time there’s multiple ways to do things now. But just something to talk about on our month-of zoom/coffee meeting!
